Registration Information and Links

This year’s convention will be a hybrid event. For those wishing to travel there is the option to participate in-person at The Broadmoor, the historic destination resort, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Members also have the option to register to attend the convention virtually, allowing registrants to log into NGFA’s online event platform to view all live speaker presentations, as well as participate in virtual meeting rooms with speakers, vendors and NGFA colleagues across the country.

In-Person Registration

All health and safety precautions to prevent COVID-19 transmission as mandated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the state of Colorado will be deployed during the convention on June 2-4, 2021. NGFA will be taking advantage of the resort’s outdoor event accommodations for all meals and receptions and utilizing the spacious indoor event areas. Importantly, attendance for this year’s convention will be capped at about 50 percent of its typical capacity to accommodate health and safety protocols.

What is a hybrid Convention?

A hybrid convention is one in which multiple methods of attendance are integrated with each other for a seamless convention experience for all attendees, regardless of attendance format. NGFA's 125th Annual Convention will have two attendance options: in-person and virtual.

Can you provide more details about how I “attend” the virtual event?

As of now we are planning to use the same virtual event platform as CEC 2020. This platform will house our event dashboard – our virtual lobby. To “attend” all of the sessions live (when they are being presented) simply click the “Live Content” button on the home page of the dashboard at the appointed times. All content will broadcast directly to you – no need to log in for each session or find the right link – it’s all right there on your dashboard. All content will also be available for on-demand viewing in the platform's Media Library.

What are the registration rates?

There are several registration rates for NGFA's 125th Annual Convention, depending on attendance format and membership status. Please view the tables at the top of this page or the In-person and Virtual pages for more information.

When is the registration window?

Early bird registration is open from March 9 - April 6. Regular registration is from April 7 - June 1. Please note that due to COVID-19 protocols we cannot accept on-site in-person registrations. You may register to attend virtually up through the event, including once it has started. All material will be available in the CEC media library if you register after the event has started.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations for in-person or virtual attendance submitted before April 6 will receive a full refund. In-person or virtual cancellations received between April 7 - May 5 will receive a partial refund, less a $100 or $50 administrative fee, respectively. No refunds will be give for in-person or virtual cancellations received after May 6.

What if I want to transfer my registration?

If you can no longer attend NGFA's 125th Annual Convention you may transfer their registration to someone else. The written request must be sent to
